How much does it cost to get your game PEGI rated? Here's how to find out. I saw an interesting piece over on Gamasutra today regarding the actual cost (financially and time wise) of getting your game PEGI rated, which is required if you're releasing your game on platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo, and the problems this is posing for Indie developers.
This also identifies the possibility of swapping over to the IARC (International Age Rating Coalition) in the future, which is a much more streamlined (and importantly, free!) process. However, if and when we can expect this change has still not been announced. Definitely worth a read if you're keen to know more about how the whole process works! You can find my other piece of the legal status of age ratings in the UK here.
